Mr. Rowe has also served as the Vice-Chairman of the DIRT Motorsports Hall of Fame Selection Committee, and was the CPA of record for DIRT Motorsports in their sale to Boundless Motorsports, Inc.
This long time affiliation and experience in racing has led to Mr. Rowe having a number of racing professionals as his clients.
Gary E. Rowe, CPA/CEO of M.R. Gaebel, Inc., has a long affiliation with the racing industry. His family was actively involved with the Watertown Speedway, and he literally has been going to local races since he was six weeks old.
He has served as a Gater Racing News columnist for the past 30 years and presented a seminar at the 17th Annual Carquest MotorSports Expo held at the New York State Fairgrounds, Syracuse. The seminar, entitled "Taxes and the Racer", focused on tax laws and how they relate to the business of the racing industry. Like many other professions there are very specific parts of the tax codes that relate to them, and what they can and cannot claim for expenses and deductions.
